Depends on how much there is...a couple of chicken's worth you probably won't notice, a good sized flock could make ya swoon on a warm day if you haven't mucked out the coop in a while, and those chicken houses that run a hundred thousand chickens through at a time? You can smell those, all the time, for a half mile around.
