This is the back side of the second tunnel ~
Our tour guide said these were hundred year old trees, but are small because they exist in what is basically a cryogenic state, because of the year round cold. Hard to believe they can grow at all. Mustard seed has got nothin' on these guys.
This is a big ol' lake. Believe it is Lake Bennett, but am not sure. Missed that part out on the platform.
And then we cross into Canada, eh.

ALA turned us on to an old TV show called Due South about a Mountie in Chicago. It is one of our favorite shows to watch, particularly for Jethro. The character that we adore so much is named Benton Fraser. I just loved that the first stop in Canada was.......
Actually, it was the last stop also. At this point we were picked up by the tour bus and taken back down the pass (there is a shortcut, now.)
Tomorrow: Pictures as we head down the mountain, and a really cool bridge.
